BETAFPV ExpressLRS Recovery Dongle

BETAFPV ExpressLRS Recovery Dongle is an FTDI USB-to-TTL module based on the CP2102 bridge controller, designed primarily for repairing or updating ELRS receiver firmware when WiFi upgrades or serial passthrough fail. This module includes spring probes and connectors, allowing for easy, solder-free operation. Its durable casing makes it more portable and robust compared to open-board versions.

Compatibility & System Support: The recovery tool works with multiple ELRS receivers, such as ELRS Lite, Nano, Micro receivers, and FPV backpack modules. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, connecting via a Type-C USB port.

Important Usage Instructions: To avoid device damage, ensure correct connections. Before starting, connect the dongle to your computer, verifying that ExpressLRS Configurator recognizes the serial port. If not, install necessary drivers or switch the USB cable. Then, use the provided spring probes to align with receiver pins. Press and hold the receiver button or short the upgrade pad to enter firmware flashing mode. In the Configurator, select the target and firmware options and flash using the UART method.
