The new Lite Receiver comes with a durable flat antenna and a 3mm ultra-thin board, weighing only 0.53g—perfect for drones with tight space requirements. Additionally, the solid flat antenna is designed without irregular components, enhancing crash resistance and improving the receiver’s durability.

Nano RX vs. Lite RX: Key Differences

What’s the main difference between the Nano Receiver and Lite Receiver?

The Nano Receiver (2.4G version) is the first and only receiver with a power amplifier (PA+LNA), offering 100mW telemetry output and improved sensitivity for long-range performance. In comparison, the Lite Receiver lacks a PA/LNA, providing a telemetry output of 17mW powered solely by the SX1280 RF chip.

Additionally, the Nano Receiver uses a standard external Dipole T antenna, while the Lite Receiver features an SMD ceramic antenna that theoretically supports a shorter range.

For drones with ample space, we highly recommend the Nano Receiver. However, for 65-85mm whoop drones with space constraints and where weight is crucial, the Lite Receiver is the better choice.
